shadow puppets

If you're having any thunder storms with power outages like us....this might be an option.


Although you'd probably have to have the puppets already made.


Last night, we decided to try it. Very. Fun. It's supposed to be a science lesson on how when the object is closer to the light source, the shadow gets bigger. But they also saw how if they turned the puppet sideways, the shadow would become flat. And little details like eyelashes or dog tongues that were drawn, but not cut out, would not appear.

Isabela and I made cats and dogs.
