Anytime we get a big box in the house, Joaquin 'calls it'. He comes up with elaborate plans, and I have to say 'no' to a lot of it. (Think indoor spray painting on a snowy day.)
The best part is he's usually making it for Diego.
After much compromise, this is what he came up with. It's a car, complete with saran wrap windshield, paper plate wheel, paper cup gas tank, cardboard back seat for animals, and a ribbon seat belt. We even made holes for a key on the door and the dashboard.
The next day, Isabela came up with this! A gas pump. Diego's using his credit card in the slot.
Close call...almost ran out of gas!
He loves it!
